Everytime you start XParanoral Detector there is a calibration being done. After it has started, normally a 10-15 minutes is required to adapt to the surroundings. During that period the detection might not be accurate.

1 - Wave Sensor scope: This is a constant visual of the base flux in your surroundings. Calculations are made in realtime continuously.

2 - Pulse energy : The lower part of this scope shows the fluctations when incoming signals are detected. This is when XParanormal Detector tries to eliminate as much digital noise as possible. In order to have a better R-Flux detection

3 - R-Flux Detection : This is the most important part of this scope. It shows visually when there is an attempt of communication. If there is activity in the upper part of the scope, this means a spirit of the dead probably tries to communication with you. The R-Flux calcultation starts when XParanormal Detector detects high pulsations. If there is very high fluctations it will be logged in the history window (#6) with the PRO Edition.

4 - (ONLY IN THE PRO EDITION) Live Area Scan : When there a confirm detection, a blip (or multiple ones) will appear on the radar. The closer to the center, the nearest they are from you. Colors also have a meaning, Red = weak signal, yellow = OK signal, Green = Good signal (if detected within approx. 10 yards it will be logged in the history window)

5 - This information of letters and numbers are information received from possibible entities and analysed in realtime.

6 - (ONLY IN THE PRO EDITION) Activity and Spoken word History: 
All spoken words are added to this list with the date and time. This is very pratical in case you have important words spoken while you are away or sleeping.High peaks of R-Flux fluctuation will be logged (ex: *High R-Flux detected) also when a possible spirit is within 10 yards (ex: *Spirit at approx. 9 yards). When these last 2 alers are detected a sound effect will be played (can be disabled in the Settings part). This list is automatically saved when you exit XParanormal Detector if this is enabled in the Settings. Note: The history list will save automatically in My Documents\xParanormal Detector\Saved history\history_MONTH-DAY-YEAR-HOURMINUTE.txt when it reaches 500 entries.

7 - (ONLY IN THE PRO EDITION) Saves the list of activity and spoken words to a file of your choice in text format.

8 - (ONLY IN THE PRO EDITION) Clears the current list.

9 - Data calculations: These sets of numbers are raw data coming into your computer via your wifi adapter, network adaptor.... Basically all the readings are distilled down to five main sets of numbers and one of letters. The numbers are then used for both scopes. When those sets of numbers change quickly it indicates a change in the energies around your computer.

10 - The Level meter gives and indication of when things are happening. The higher it is the higher are chances the spirit of the dead (1 or more) are in range.

11 - Opens this help file

12 - Opens your web browser to the home of XParanormal Detector web site.

13 - This will open the Settings panel. To help you tweak the different sensivity settings. (Click here for the help part of the Settings panel)

14 - (ONLY IN THE PRO EDITION) This allows to switch between the regular interface and the new Dark theme. Ideal if doing a paranormal investigation in a dark area and do not want to have your screen to be too bright.
